Uchinada Town Tourist Information Center
Members of the Uchinada Town Tourism Association and volunteer sightseeing guides are regularly stationed here. Eelectric-assist bicycles are available for rent here as well as additional tourist information.
The closest beach to Kanazawa City, Uchinada Coast was selected as one of Japan's "100 Best Swimming Coastlines" because of its wide, and sandy beach. You can swim from the middle of July to mid-August every year.
Roadside Station Uchinada Sunset Park
Sunset Park has a fantastic location where you can see from Mt. Haku to Mt. Tate. At night, you can see the Sunset Bridge illumination. These are a few of the things that make the Sunset Park also popular as a date spot. You will also find fresh local produce and other special products available here.
Uchinada Sunset Bridge
This elegant, white suspension bridge is 344m in length, is illuminated at night, and is an Uchinada Town landmark.
The Bell of Happiness
The area around Uchinada Beach and Uchinada Sunset Bridge has been designated as a sanctuary for lovers. At the top of a lookout structure with a 360-degree view, is the "Bell of Happiness" that rings out a pure, beautiful tone. The nearby illumination creates a dreamy atmosphere from evening to night.
Observation Onsen Honobonoyu
A 100% naturally sourced hot spring where you can enjoy magnificent views of the Kahokugata Lagoon and the distant Mt. Haku and Mt. Tate mountain ranges while bathing in the warm waters.
The House of Wind and Sand
This local history and folklore museum houses various records of Uchinada Town, as well as displays of regional and international kites, the former Awagasaki Amusement Park and Musical Review, the Uchinada Conflict, and other cultural properties. You can also visit the adjacent tea house.
Yume Milk Kan
Yume Milk Kan sells soft-serve ice cream and yogurt made from fresh milk sourced directly from the attached dairy ranch. You can also feed horses and rabbits at the Yumehiroba.
