Tsubakiharatenmangu Shrine

People at this shrine worshipped Sugawara Michizane, and brought in his spirit from the Kitanotenmangu Shrine in Kyoto. Later, it became the prayer place for the family of Lord Maeda and Souja (shrine enshrining several gods) in Kanaurago, called Taitenmangu Shrine. During the Kanei Period (1624~44), it was moved to a place called “Tsubakiharayama Mountain” and was renamed Tsubakiyama Shrine in the Meiji Period.
