The 3rd Lord of Maeda, Toshitsune’s real mother Jufuku-in established this temple by inviting Yosen-in Nichigo in 1601 (Keicho 6). Later it was burned down, however, Toshitsune reestablished it at the 17th anniversary of his mother Jufuku-in’s death in 1647 (Shoho 4). It houses the grave of Osada (Shinnyo-in, concubine of Yoshinori, the 6th Lord of Maeda) who was a heroin of Kaga Sodo (riot). The five-layered stone statue here is famous.
